Claire Golden Drake

Claire was anewcomer to The Stagecrafters as Veronica in God of Carnage. Claire’s acting credits include: Shirley Valentine with Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Lettice & Lovage  (Lotte), Rumors (Chris), All In The Timing and Dickens’ Hard Times (multiple roles), Wonder Of The World (Cassie) and Alan Ayckbourn’s trilogy, The Norman Conquests (Annie) at Allen’s Lane Theater.  Additional credits include The Elephant Man, Moby Dick Rehearsed and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (various roles) at Iron Age Theatre, The Sound of Music (Frau Schmitt/Nun), Oliver (Mrs. Sowerberry & others) and many Children’s Theatre touring shows with The Centre Theatre. Claire has also performed with Hedgerow Theatre, Bckseet Productions, Vagabond Acting Troupe….Claire graduated from University of the Arts and has been acting, dialect coaching and teaching children’s theatre, music & movement in and around Philadelphia since 1998.  Currently, aside from teaching music at Kid View Preschool and facilitating kids’ parties, she is performing children’s shows on a regular basis; independently and with Talewise.  Claire would like to thank her incredible and supportive family and friends, including, but not limited to, her kids, Natalie, Lucas & Nick, and her husband of almost 24 years, Carl.
