Skeleton Crew
This is a story of four people who work day-after-day in a Detroit automobile stamping factory, each connected to the others by years of working together and sharing their everyday joys, pains, hopes and despair; and also their worries for the future if the factory closes and they find themselves without means of support. Their intersecting, and at times heartbreaking, life stories are beautifully rendered, all finely nuanced and complex, and full of tenderness.
