The Cake
Exciting things are happening at Della’s North Carolina bakery: she has been chosen as a contestant on the Big American Bake-Off and her best friend’s daughter, Jen, has asked Della to bake her wedding cake. But all is NOT rosy for Della: her husband Tim seems uninterested in her, Jen’s intended does not eat refined sugar and just happens to be a woman.
