JIM BROYLES returned to The Stagecrafters for his fourteenth production with Boy Gets Girl as Howard Siegel. Favorites at this theater include Rogues Gallery (The Choreographer’s Hand), Spinning into Butter (Ross Collins), On Golden Pond (Bill Ray), Shakespeare in Hollywood (Oberon), Trouble in Mind (Al Manners), The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack Worthing), Tartuffe (Valere) and All My Sons (Jim Bayliss). Jim has also appeared in Talk Radio (Barry Champlain), An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein (multiple roles) and The Insanity of Mary Girard (Stephen Girard) at Allen’s Lane Art Center; The Weir (Brendan) with Pulley & Buttonhole Theatre Company; The Complete History of Amer ica Abridged (multiple roles) and Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (Ebenezer Scrooge) with Casabuena Cultural Productions; and Frost/Nixon (John Birt) at The Players Club of Swarthmore. Jim is “thrilled to be back at Stagecrafters. Many thanks to Mariangela and our terrific cast and crew!”
Sadly, Boy Gets Girl was Jim’s last role appearance at The Stagecrafters – he passed away suddenly in the summer of 2023. Jim gave of his time and talents to our theater for years, and was a dear friend to many. He will be deeply missed.
